Slobodanka Dekic

LGBTQ and anti-LGBTQ social movements in CEE (University of Belgrade)

Slobodanka Dekic graduated in Anthropology and Ethnology from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. She has an MA in Democracy and Human Rights in SEE from the University in Sarajevo and the University of Bologna. She works as senior project coordinator in Mediacentar Sarajevo, Bosnia and Hercegovina. She is active in the LGBT movement in Bosnia and Hercegovina. Her fields of interests include sexuality, media and peace studies. As part of the FATIGUE programme, she will examine post-Yugoglav LGBTQ movements.

She is supervised by Isidora Jarić and Haris Dajc at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philosophy, and Beata Nagy at Corvinus University of Budapest.
