Tiril Ellingsen Thue
ESR10: Anti-Semitism in the former Yugoslavia (University of Belgrade)
Tiril Ellingsen Thue graduated in 2018 from the Department of Sociology and Human Geography at the University of Oslo, Norway. She holds an MA and BA in Human Geography. Her master thesis investigated contemporary Serbian nationalism, focusing on church-state relations, identity formation and the impact of far-right groups. Her fields of interest include political geography, the far-right and civil society movements.
As an Early Stage Researcher on the FATIGUE programme, Tiril will conduct a comparative analysis of patterns of anti-Semitism in Serbia and Croatia. She is supervised by Haris Dajč and Nikola Samardžić at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade and Ljiljana Dobrovšak at Ivo Pilar Institute, Zagreb.
